Shopify product imagesUse the 80% / 2048 px preset as a review starting point, not a platform rule. WordPress publishingSeparate large hero images from smaller inline article images. Strict upload limitsSet a target KB value, then reduce dimensions if quality alone is not enough.

The normal conversion path reads files from your device, processes them in browser memory, and creates local download links. Closing the tab clears the working queue.

No file upload

Pixels and filenames are not sent to a BatchWebP server during conversion.

Real output names

If a browser produces a fallback format, the download uses the actual file extension.

Review before export

Compare detailed images and download individual outliers before packaging the batch.

Known limitation

Animated GIF handling depends on browser decoding. Review animation-sensitive files separately.
